Are you conventionné? Do you accept the Carte Vitale?

Sector 1 conventionné dental practice and Carte Vitale

Yes. Cabinet Dentaire 10 Prague is conventionné sector 1: fees for routine care (consultations, cavities, scaling) are those set by the French national health insurance. We accept the Carte Vitale and offer third-party payment with the national health insurance (you do not pay upfront the share reimbursed by the Sécu). Third-party payment with top-up insurers is possible subject to a prior authorisation request with your complementary health insurer.

Urgences

What should I do in a dental emergency?

Dental emergency in Paris 12: what to do?

In an emergency — severe toothache, abscess, broken tooth, trauma after a fall, lost crown — contact the practice by phone on 01 89 16 43 33: emergency slots are reserved every day for our patients. Outside opening hours, on weekends or public holidays, dial 15 (SAMU) which will direct you to the on-call dental surgeon for the Hauts-de-Seine département.

What should I do if I break a tooth or lose a crown?

Broken tooth or lost crown: the right reflexes

Contact the practice quickly on 01 89 16 43 33. If you have a tooth fragment or a tooth knocked out following a shock, keep it in milk, saline solution or saliva (never dry) and come in within the hour if possible: re-implantation is sometimes still feasible. For a loose crown, keep it but do not try to glue it back yourself with shop-bought glue: we will carry out a cleaning and an appropriate cementing during the consultation.

Prévention

How often should I see a dentist?

Frequency of check-up visits at the dentist

An annual check-up visit is recommended for adults in good oral health, and every 6 months for children, teenagers, pregnant women and at-risk patients (diabetes, tobacco, periodontitis). Regular scaling combined with a clinical examination helps prevent cavities, periodontal disease and detect any suspicious lesion early.

Enfants

From what age should I take my child to the dentist?

Child's first dental consultation: at what age?

The first visit is advised as soon as the first baby teeth appear, around 1 year of age, then once a year. The M'T dents check-ups at 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21 and 24 years old are covered 100% by the national health insurance and complementary insurer. These appointments help the child get used to the practice environment, provide tailored hygiene advice and detect cavities, malpositions or growth anomalies early.

Confort & sédation

Do you offer treatments for anxious patients?

Méopa sedation for anxious patients and children

Yes. We offer conscious sedation with Méopa (equimolar mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide), a safe technique with no major contraindications and entirely reversible. Méopa is ideal for anxious patients, those phobic of the dentist, uncooperative children or people with a strong gag reflex. The patient remains awake, conscious and cooperative during the procedure, and leaves without drowsiness at the end of the session.

Orthodontie

Is invisible orthodontics offered for adults?

Invisible adult orthodontics: clear aligners

Yes, we offer removable clear aligners for adults wishing a discreet orthodontic treatment to correct crowding, overlapping teeth, a diastema or mild to moderate malocclusion. An initial consultation with photos, digital impressions, measurements, cephalometric and panoramic dental X-rays makes it possible to assess feasibility, simulate the final result and establish the expected treatment duration (generally 6 to 18 months).

Implantologie

How much does a dental implant cost? Is it reimbursed?

Price and reimbursement of a dental implant

The cost of a dental implant varies according to the clinical case: whether or not a prior bone graft is needed, the type of crown (ceramic, zirconia), the number of implants to be placed. A detailed written quote is systematically provided before any treatment. The implant itself is not reimbursed by the national health insurance, but the crown placed on the implant benefits from partial reimbursement. Many complementary insurers cover all or part of the remaining cost: we help you put together your authorisation file.

Esthétique

Is dental whitening safe?

In-practice dental whitening: is it risk-free?

Carried out by a dental surgeon, dental whitening is safe and effective. We first perform a complete examination (state of teeth and gums, preliminary scaling), then use peroxide-based products dosed according to European regulations. Temporary dental sensitivity may occur during or just after treatment, but remains short-lived. Over-the-counter products or whitening in non-regulated salons, on the other hand, present a real risk for enamel and gums.
