In-office teeth whitening: how the session works

Dental veneers

We use different types of dental veneers:

Composite resin veneers: they are economical, can be placed quickly during the first visit. You will choose with our practitioner the veneer colour closest to your teeth. Composite resin veneers have a shorter lifespan and resist food stains (coffee, tea, tobacco...) less well than porcelain ones.
Lab-made porcelain veneers: this type of veneer requires only two sessions at our practice. The first is for taking your dental impression (for making the final porcelain veneers) and placing temporary veneers. The second session is dedicated to placing the permanent veneers, which offer much greater durability.
CEREC porcelain veneers: unlike lab-made ones, this type uses CEREC technology, which allows us to make your permanent veneers instantly on-site and place them in a single session without temporary veneers. They are as durable as lab-made porcelain veneers.

Mini-invasive veneers: an innovative solution

Recently, we have been using a more innovative dental veneer technique: mini-invasive veneers. These are ultra-thin veneers that are more efficient, more resistant and longer-lasting (20+ years) without particular alterations or weaknesses. For this type of veneer, treatment is completed in just two sessions and requires no prior dental treatment.

During a first consultation, the dental surgeon will take an impression of your teeth, then place your mini-invasive veneers.

This technique offers a major advantage: the total reversibility of the treatment. The teeth in this case are not damaged and remain intact. Unlike other dental treatments, mini-invasive veneers are applied quickly and painlessly.

Some tips are nonetheless essential to properly preserve your dental veneers and ensure their longevity:

Orthodontics with removable clear aligners

Invisible dental appliances require no brackets. They come in the form of removable clear shells that perfectly fit the shape of your teeth, for greater discretion and comfort.

This treatment with removable clear aligners requires wearing several successive custom-made shells (about every 2 weeks) to allow gentle progressive tooth alignment.
